Air Yeezy 2 Coming Soon

With the hype of the original Yeezy sneakers still among us, the news of the new Yeezy 2 release in slated for early spring is far from surprising. Kanye has consistently delivered as a fashion icon with the Louis Vuitton collaborations including the Dons and Jaspers. In pairing up with the largest sportswear company in the world he has appealed to a new mass, sneaker heads. By increasing production and using materials other than the worlds finest leathers, he has been able to spread his appeal. Simply put the first Yeezy's were dope. Now with  pictures surfacing of the successor, the hype is gradually growing and people are setting up their tents. These photos are a few weeks old and are of the Black x Pink colourway. Perhaps the most anticipated version of this shoe is the watermelon CW. The Yeezy's have a confirmed retail of $235, which will ultimately lead to $1000 sneakers up on ebay. Stay tuned for more updates.

J. Crew International.... Now In a Locale Near You

We've been fans of J. Crew for a little bit, and with their new international shipping roster. If you've seen some of their pieces and have been wanting to add to your wardrobe, now is your chance. They are continuing to expand as we speak so if you're country isn't on there yet no need to worry yet. As we've seen on 'Selectism' as well, all we can do is wish them the best of luck as they continue to grow.

Herschel Supply Co. Spring 2012

Herschel is an instant favorite in the studio with many of our team members rocking the Vancouver based brand. One thing we all agree on is that the quality should be a raised as my own Little America bag now has a broken drawstring.

All things aside we are confident with what they have out now. With the unveiling done at Agenda (via Hypebeast) , the collection looks to grow on their already popular products. Particularly the backpacks and smaller accessories.

Not to say that Herschel is not taking heat from people complaining that it is a 'knock-off' of Head Porter, take this into consideration when buying a new bag. Herschel is a great new company overall that has gained much attention in recent seasons and their bags are an art unto themselves. I guess we approve!

Tomorrow's the big show. Drake, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, and a suprise arsenal of some of hip hop's finest. Some rumored names range from Nicki Minaj to Kanye West. But all speculation aside, it is guaranteed to truly be something special. There isn't much to be said, except well enjoy the show! OVOXO

Well we're not quite done actually, you may have heard of the new OVO movement or even just seen the owl t-shirts... and wanted one. Well look no further, Octobers Very Own is dropping a collection available exclusively at the concert. Sucks that everyone here at Swaggfound already had some custom pieces made. Ransom x Adidas Fall/Winter 2011

So... Well we're a few days late here. Much apologies but we figured why be worrying about the boots and the cold already?

Guess Who.
Ransom had another idea in mind obviously, as they traveled to the Pemberton icecaps in British Columbia, Canada. This new campaign features their latest collaboration showcased with the many environments that the footwear is ideal for, from forests to glaciers. Although, not completely practical in the real wilderness, it is quite interesting. Have a look!

Boot Look for The Summer

The weather is quite wonderful in T.O. and definitely not something to complain about, on the other hand, everyone at here at SwaggFound is missing that "complex" look. Anything from coats to hoodies and coats that simply don't work in the heat. Something that is quite overlooked is footwear, most go for the boat shoes or flip-flops but if you can rock a sneaker in this heat, why not go the extra mile?

The Rag & Bone Wakefield High Top Boat Shoe ($450 via Mr. Porter)  is the answer. Its high top boat shoe with moccasin look and is surprisingly cool. For those days that are a bit cooler, it allows your feet to breath and doesn't appear to be out of season as it has that moccasin/ boat shoe look but all the flair of a pair of well made boots. Great with a pair of khakis or Levi's 511's!

Also available in Navy.

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012

The title says it all. Here's a quick look at the Behind the Scenes of the Louis Vuitton Men's Show for Spring/Summer 2012. There's not much to be said aside from the strong colors and bold lines. You'll notice that a few of the pieces are simply cut from the jackets to pants and above all, matching the different pieces is essential.

Highlights.

Esency Clothing - Accessory Destination

We hit you up just a little while ago about the Burkman Bros. Bracelets, well lets just say Swaggfound has discovered something of a more local variety. Instead of some rope bracelets, we went in search of something else besides the more tropical feel.
What could these be?

With this, we found Esency's "Angel Bracelets" which combine the traditional wooden beaded bracelet with a simple extra element. A small leaf, the Esency trademark, is attached at the end with two smaller beads and this subtle hint really goes a long way. At $40, they're a good find for beaded bracelets, not to mention, they're handmade! Definitely a great accessory to your summer look! Be sure to check out their website       @ http://esency.bigcartel.com/

Kanye West's Coachella Bracelets = Casual Accessory

Sorry for awkward time lapse... we were too busy listening to Drake and enjoying the weather here in Toronto! All things aside, we're back with a treat. Looking back to Coachella, Yeezy always is a trendsetter for new fashions during his performances. More or less, he could be a model that raps. During this years concert, one of the most noticeable things were his "Beach Bracelets" from Burkman Bros. These are made of waxed cotton and  are around $10 apiece. An alternative to these are simply tour bracelets. If you ever go to Mexico for example, check out the local markets and look for colored bracelets made of rope. The Burkman bracelets are definitely a great find and not expensive at all, but if you want the truly original style of it, visit the South American countries and get the REAL thing.

That being said, overall, the bracelets are a wonderful accessory for your summer look. If you're not into wearing watches or just want something to match your shorts and v-neck, this is what to get. Wear them sparingly as you probably don't want more than 2-3 on at the same time. Also, if you find these bracelets or anything similar, be sure to get a variety of colors for an extra flare.

Available at Burkman Bros. Website.

"All-Black Everything" - The Sneaker Essential

If you haven't seen these yet,  don't be too surprised. Dunks, which have a generally have a large following, just do not have the 'mass appeal' of the Jordan Brand. All else aside, the quality is the same and you will notice many similar style overlaps. You're about to see the Nike SB Dunk High Cut Waterproof. Otherwise remembered as the "Waterproof Dunks". These are amazing in that they match almost everything, with its matte-finish virtually nothing that stands out about it, its perfect. It definitely isn't a shoe for someone looking that flare, but it is subtle and a well made sneaker. Not to mention that its' waterproof. Revealed late last year, its not a new shoe by any means, but it does deserve some attention. My advice, rock some bright colors for your top and just let them stand out along with your fresh kicks. The last note: Its Waterproof! Dance in the rain all you want! If you're a sneaker head or just someone looking for some casual kicks, check them out!

Ray Ban Wayfarers - Plus a Twist

These shades are a timeless classic and I have personally have pair. I rock these all day, but just last week I saw someone with a pair of Tortoise shell ones. When you actually get a pair, you'll notice that the design is not as prominent as it is in photos, so don't worry about it being too flashy. The black ones are fine, trust me, but if you want something a little different, check these out.

These glasses are unisex so for any females that are maybe considering their own pair of black or white ones, why not give these a try.

They are actually much darker and only up close will you see the subtle  mix of brown.

Summer Essential

This is going to be totally biased. I simply love Ray Bans, but they are definitely worth it. Great, solid fades that aren't ridiculously priced.

The wayfarers are a good choice too, but check up soon for the tortoise shell frames.

You can buy these at Mr Porter for $175: http://www.mrporter.com/product/301835

If you have time, look at the more pricey shades at SSENSE. Make sure to click through the ads on my blog. Much appreciated!

Cop These

Great slip ons for the warmer weather. Look mom, no socks!
Make sure if you get boat shoes, don't go for that
H&M stuff. Look for brands like Sperry, they are
often above the $70 mark but definitely worth it.
